Faith in Action
Who We Are
We are a community of believers, called by God and led by the Holy Spirit, to know Christ and make Christ known. Whatever brings you through our doors, you'll find a congregation that takes both faith and community seriously — and welcomes you just as you are.
What We're About
Everything we do flows from six timeless commitments:
We Share Good News. We believe Jesus Christ offers forgiveness, hope, and a fresh start to anyone who seeks it.
We Care for Each Other. We are one family in faith — and that means showing up for one another in real, tangible ways.
We Worship Together. Sunday mornings are the heart of our week, but worship doesn't stop there. We seek to honor God in everything we do.
We Stand for Truth. In a world that often defines truth by personal preference, we are anchored in the timeless truth of God's Word.
We Pursue Justice. Where people are treated unfairly, we seek justice. Where voices are silenced, we speak out. We try to stand where Jesus stands.
We Show the World Love. We want to give our community a glimpse of what grace, peace, and genuine love actually look like in action.
How We're Led
Our congregation is guided by a Session of nine Ruling Elders who provide spiritual leadership and governance, and a Board of twelve Deacons whose calling is compassion — caring for those who are poor, sick, lonely, or struggling in any way. Both groups are elected by the congregation and serve three-year terms.
Becoming a Member
Membership here is both a joy and a commitment. You can join by professing your faith for the first time, transferring from another Christian church, or reaffirming a faith you already hold.
As a member, you're invited into a community that prays together, serves together, gives generously, and seeks to make a real difference — in Blairsville and beyond.
Curious about membership? We'd love to talk. Reach out anytime.
Our Presbyterian Roots
Presbyterians believe that God comes to us with grace and love through Jesus Christ — and that following Jesus means engaging thoughtfully with the world around us. That means feeding the hungry, welcoming strangers, teaching truth, and working for peace and justice.
